Production of glues

One of the basic properties of dispersions produced on the basis of homopolymers and copolymers of polyvinylacetate is their gluing effect. Many of them are suitable without any modifications for a direct use at gluing of various materials. A common characteristic of all dispersion adhesives is their ability of being treated by water, being washed by water as well as an environmental suitability and a clean working and general environment connected with it.

Dispersion adhesives produced on aqueous basis are excellent adhesives for absorbent materials (receiving humidity from an adhesive). Modern technologies of gluing currently do not enable a mutual gluing of limited absorbent materials up to non-absorbent materials (it is generally required that at least one of glued materials accepted humidity from an adhesive).

Dispersions are modified by addition of various resins, fillers, plasticizers, softeners, biocides, polyvinylalcohol and similar.
