Dispersion binder is one of the most important components in the formulation used for production of dispersion colours Ability of a paint to resist stress from ambient surrounding including wiping and washing depends on a type and amount of a dispersion used. It also significantly affects a strength of adhesion to underlayer, resistance against UV radiation, absorbability and permeability of vapours, lifetime of a paint and, last but not least, its covering ability. It is vinylacetate dispersions that are one of the most frequently used dispersion binders suitable for production of quality dispersion paints. Such colours can generally be diluted with water, they are non-toxic, environmentally and hygienically defect-free, do not contain any organic solvents.
