Production of fibres and technical textiles

This area includes production of glass fibres and textiles from glass and synthetic fibres. Production of glass fibres and textiles from them belongs to the most important applications of vinylacetate dispersions. PVAc dispersions are one of the basic components of finishing baths in technology of primary fibres and weaved and non-weaved textiles from glass fibres. A fibre would be smashed, breakable, fragile, not much flexible and difficult to process. It is and finishing solution that imparts a fibre its actual properties.

PVAc dispersions are used at production from synthetic fibres and/or of other organic fibres from secondary raw materials for a similar purpose as in case of glass fibres, however, herein they fulfil a role of improving of a textile, fixation of individual fibres, reduction of permeability for water, increase of mechanical resistance and similar.
